What is the difference between a Fine and Medium nib?
A Fine (F) nib produces a thinner line ideal for small handwriting and detailed notes, while a Medium (M) nib offers a smoother flow and a broader line that showcases ink color and shading.
Do Kaweco pens come with ink included?
Yes, most Kaweco fountain pens include one blue ink cartridge inside the barrel. Please note that for shipping safety, the cartridge is often inverted and needs to be punctured before first use.
How do I clean and maintain my fountain pen?
We recommend flushing your pen with room temperature water every 4-6 weeks or whenever you change ink colors. Simply submerge the nib and section in water or use a converter to draw water in and out until it runs clear.
What is your return policy for writing instruments?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unused pens in their original packaging. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns on pens that have been inked or used, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our Kaweco collections worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. Please note that customs duties may apply to international orders.
Which converters are compatible with the Sport series?
Due to the compact size of the Sport series, they are compatible with the Kaweco Mini Piston Converter or the Squeeze Converter. Standard long converters will not fit in the Sport barrel.
